Bomb scare in Norway: suspicious bag outside Oslo synagogue empty
The suspicious bag found earlier Friday outside of an Oslo synagogue turned out to be empty, Norwegian police said.
Earlier in the day, a police bomb squad was summoned to a synagogue in the Norwegian capital after a suspicious bag was found outside the building. The police cordoned off the streets in the region.

"The suitcase turned out to be empty. Barriers maintained in Bergstien [Street]. Other roadblocks repealed. No suspect in the case," the police said on its Twitter account.

According to local media reports, the suitcase was left by a man wearing dark clothing in the early hours of Friday.
