Armenian armed units violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 120 times in various directions of the contact line of troops in the last 24 hours using large-caliber machine guns and 60, 82, 120mm mortar launchers, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on May 14.
Armenian armed units stationed in Berkaber village of Armenia’s Ijevan district opened fire at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in Gizilhajili village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district.
Moreover, Azerbaijani army positions located in the Alibeyli village of Tovuz district were fired at by Armenian armed units stationed in the Aygepar village of Berd district.
Azerbaijani army positions located on nameless heights of Gedebey district also came under from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.
Armenian armed forces started shelling the Azerbaijani settlements and positions in Terter district using 60, 82, 120mm mortar launchers on May 13 from 18:20 pm till 01:50 am on May 14.
Meanwhile, Armenian army opened fire from positions near the villages of Shikhlar, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Garagashli, Namirli, Marzili, Yusifjanli of the Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of the Khojavand district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of the Fuzuli district, Mehdili village of the Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless heights in the districts of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.
In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces carried out 124 strikes on Armenian positions.
