PACE briefed on some significant cases in Georgia
A meeting was held with a delegation of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), led by co-rapporteur Boris Silevich, in the Main Prosecutor`s Office of Georgia.

Chief Prosecutor of Georgia Giorgi Badashvili and his deputies Irakli Shovnadze, Giorgi Gogadze briefed the committee members with the structure and the activity of the Prosecutor`s Office, its approaches and views on legal issues.

Badashvili expressed willingness to inform PACE representatives about significant cases concerning former officials of the government of the country, including ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, the Main Prosecutor`s Office of Georgia told Trend.

The sides discussed the cooperation prospects.
