Deputy: City in honor of Heydar Aliyev to be laid in Azerbaijan
One of the new towns will be built in Alat.
The Azerbaijani government plans to set up two new towns.

The statement came from the deputy executive secretary of the party "Yeni Azerbaijan" (YAP) Siyavush Novruzov.

According to S.Novruzov, one of the new towns will be built in Alat, another will locate between the towns of Shabran and Siyazan.

In this case, one of the new towns will be named in honor of former President Heydar Aliyev.

"The need to name one of the cities of Azerbaijan after Heydar Aliyev was repeatedly stated. In Nakhchivan there is already a refugee camp called Heydarabad. Now it`s time to call a new city after Heydar Aliyev," the deputy said.
