"For now, we cannot provide the country with grain by 100 percent, and a certain part of it falls on the share of imports," Guliyev said. "Regarding the quality of grain produced in Azerbaijan, local manufacturers, major companies, bakeries themselves say that it meets all the high standards."
The deputy minister mentioned agro-technical measures, issuance of fertilizers and pesticides with a 70-percent discount, provision of entrepreneurs with necessary equipment and so on as the necessary steps taken by the ministry of agriculture.
"All this suggests that Azerbaijan will soon be able to fully provide itself with food grains," said Guliyev.
