Also, Poroshenko called attention to the worsening situation in the area of Avdeyevka, a suburb of Donetsk, and said this was an impediments for progress in the peace settlement process.
"The four leaders agreed that a decisive reduction of tensions and full ceasefire were needed in order to continue political dialogue," the press service said.
In the course of the talks, the sides also stressed the importance of a full implementation of the Minsk peace accords, including safe conditions for local elections in Donbass on the basis of Ukrainian legislation and the norms stipulated by the OSCE`s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the press service said.
