Nobel laureate: Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan play important role in revival of Silk Road
"Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan play an important role in the revival of the Silk Road", said Nobel Prize winner, Edward Prescott in his interview, in IX Astana Economic Forum (AEF).
He emphasized that, Silk Road stimulated the exchange of experiences for centuries, contributed to the strengthening of peace and dialogue and stressed that, it gave an impetus to the development of transport and logistics infrastructure.

Edward Prescott also appreciated diversification of energy routes of Silk Road countries, including Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

“It increases stability of the economy, significantly contributing to energy security in region and in Europe”, he added.
