Azerbaijan`s international influence is growing and the tasks entrusted are being fulfilled successfully, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said.
The head of state made the remarks on Friday at the official reception held on the occasion of the national holiday of Azerbaijan – Republic Day.
President Aliyev said stability and security will be further ensured in Azerbaijan, noting that the unity of the people and government is strengthening, democracy is developing.
All freedoms are secured in Azerbaijan, the president said, stressing that double standards towards Azerbaijan must be ended.
The president recalled that 2016 was declared the Year of Multiculturalism in Azerbaijan. “In the current situation it is a message to the world. Azerbaijan`s interests in foreign policy are successfully secured,” he added.
