Family of Azerbaijani taken hostage by Armenia appeals to President Ilham Aliyev
The family of Dilgam Asgerov who was taken hostage by Armenians appealed to the President Ilham Aliyev, Dilgam`s son Kurdoglu told AzVision.az.

`Our state does its best to save Azerbaijani hostages. We appeal to the President to highlight the release of Azerbaijani hostages at his next meeting with the Armenian president. Dilgam Asgerov and Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage in their homeland. We believe in our President Ilham Aliyev. We sure that with the initiative of Azerbaijani President the hostages will be released soon`, Kurdoglu said.

In July of 2014, Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage and another Azerbaijani citizen Hasan Hasanov was shot to death by the Armenian servicemen while trying to visit their homeland in Kalbajar.

Hasan Hasanov’s body was taken from the enemy and buried in Baku. On December 19, 2014, the “court” of the separatist regime in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh sentenced Dilgam Asgarov to life in prison, Shahbaz Guliyev to 22 years in prison.
