`Turkey will make necessary steps on the issue` - Turkish PM
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim held a press conference at the Esenboga airport before his Azerbaijan visit, AzVision.az reports.
`Germany`s recognition of so-called `Armenian Genocide` will deteriorate the Turkish-German relations, the Prime Minister said while commenting on the Bundestag`s decision on recognition of the `genocide`.

`The adoption of such a decision is historical mistake of Germany. Firstly, we recalled Turkish ambassador to Germany. Turkey will make necessary steps on the issue`, he said.

The PM also highlighted the occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands by the Armenian Armed Forces.

`Efforts are being made within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, but the important steps were not taken. Armenia continues to pursue its aggressive policy. Recently, we witnessed the four-day way between the sides. I think that Azerbaijan is strong enough to provide the security and the country has developed over 25 years. Armenia should come down to earth and start to work for development of its nation`, he said.

Before his visit to Azerbaijan, the PM expressed confidence in boosting the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

`The relations between the sides are quite good, especially TANAP is a very strategic project`, he concluded.
