"The local production growth will reduce the country’s unemployment level," Yavuz said.
He said that Turkey plans to increase export volumes to $ 500 billion until 2023.
The unemployment rate in Turkey was 10.1 percent in August 2014, or 0.7 percent more than in August 2013, according to the website of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
TUIK said that in August there were 2.867 million unemployed in Turkey, while the unemployment rate among men was 8.9 percent, and 12.7 percent among women.
As of Aug. 1, 2014, the population of Turkey was 76,667,384.
Some 22.1 percent out of the total number of working Turkish citizens, or 5,815 million people are employed in agriculture, 20 percent – in the industry, and 7.5 percent – in construction.
The remaining 50.4 percent of Turkey’s working population is employed in other sectors of the economy.
