Representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora awarded - PHOTOS
The representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora were awarded for their contribution to the development of the Diaspora under the decree of the President Ilham Aliyev. On June 3, the Head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev presented the prizes, AzVision.az reports.

The awarding ceremony was held at the `Gulustan` palace. State and government officials, the members of Azerbaijani Parliament and the prominent figures of science and culture attended the event.

According to the decree signed by the President of Azerbaijan, 7 representatives were awarded with the 3rd degree Order for `Service to the Homeland`, 41 awarded with the Medal of Progress and 2 with `For Distinguished Public Service` medal for their contributions in strengthening of friendship among the nations and development of the Azerbaijani Diaspora.
