He noted that Azerbaijan has unique position in the North-South corridor: “Azerbaijan is a transit country from Persian Gulf toward Caucasian region and this creates wide economic opportunities for Azerbaijan. Arvand Free zone Organization is located om the southern east of Iran. East-West and North-South corridor passes through this territory”.
He added that he trade between Arvand and Araz zone may be useful for Caucasian countries: “Azerbaijan is located near Araz and can use Araz region for trade of products”.
Zamani noted that usage of North-South corridor will create opportunity for both country: “Infrastructure of the corridor, as well as railway, motor roads, ports are ready. Azerbaijani companies may export products through this corridor opening office and plants in Iran”.
