What happens when digital-age photography meets the Renaissance? Russian visual artist Alexei Sovertkov has a bright answer.
In his art project Digiclassicism, inspired by the Northern Renaissance and improvisation, the master filled digital images with the aesthetics given to us by such geniuses as Jan van Eyck, Rogier van der Weyden, Hans Holbein and Albrecht Dürer.
