The name of Russian citizen Denis Klyaver has been excluded from the list of undesirable people of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
A citizen of Russian Federation, singer, actor, composer and former member of Russian musical band “Chai Vdvoem” was included in the list of undesirable people of the Azerbaijani foreign ministry for making an illegal visit to the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia.

Klyaver has appealed to the Azerbaijani foreign ministry with a request to exclude his name from the list.

In his letter, the singer reaffirmed his full respect to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders, its laws and regulations.

Klyaver noted that his visit to the occupied Azerbaijani territories was not intentional and he was unaware about the consequences of that visit.

He stressed that the visit should not give a meaning of his disrespect to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Furthermore, the Russian singer mentioned that his visit to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by Armenia in no way served for the promotion of illegal regime established in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, which is nothing other than the result of occupation and aggression.

Meanwhile, Klyaver expressed his apology to the government and people of Azerbaijan for an unauthorized visit to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and attested that he will refrain from such visits to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan in the future.

After considering the Russian singer’s appeal, his name was excluded from the list of undesirable people of the Azerbaijani foreign ministry.
