Azerbaijani delegation attends 9th meeting of Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nazim Samadov has attended the 9th meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
The event brought together secretary-general of World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai, secretary-general of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States Ramil Hasanov, Kyrgyz minister of culture, information and tourism Altynbek Maksutov, Turkish deputy minister of culture and tourism Huseyn Yayman and Kazakhstan`s deputy minister of investments and development Zamir Saginov.

According to Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the meeting determined 11 tourism companies from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Turkey, who will realize new tourism route – the Modern Silk Road project, and signed a memorandum. Three Azerbaijani tourism companies will be involved in the project.
