Amongst the dead are five women, four men and two underage girls.
The prosecutor`s office for the state of Puebla has issued a statement saying that the attack was carried out by men on foot. It was not immediately clear the manner in which the deaths occurred.
The prosecutor`s office is investigating the attack and have put two eyewitnesses under protection.
