Azerbaijani hostages and captives are being exploited at coal and gold mines as well as at the Metsamor NPP in Armenia, Head of International Association to Fight Unfounded Armenian Allegations (ASİM-DER) Göksel Gülbey told, AzVision.az reports citing Femida.az.
The Armenian side denies the captives and hostages and refuses to release them ignoring the demands of the Azerbaijani side. The number of captives and hostages is 4049 in accordance with the January 1, 2011 dated report of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons. Among the captives and hostages in Armenia, there are 3273 soldiers, 771 civilians and 5 non-civil and non-military people.
