Swedish SAS pilot strike to disrupt 20,000 passenger journeys
A strike over work conditions involving 350 Swedish pilots of the Scandinavian SAS airline will affect the flights of 20,000 passengers on Saturday, the airline said in a statement to the press, AzVision.az reports citing SputnikNews.
According to the statement, the majority of flights involving Swedish pilots will be canceled. On Saturday, the cancellation will concern 159 flights.

In Sweden, the pilots’ unions have been calling for a higher than the proposed 2.2-percent salary increase and greater job security.

On Friday, some 400 pilots walked out in protest after talks between work unions and the SAS ended with no solution.
