Court denies Iranian bank
Today, the Baku Court of Appeal concluded the trial on the basis of the complaint filed by the Iranian Bank "Bank Melli Iran" against the Baku City Executive Power.
The court denied the complaint.

Note that Iranian bank appealed to the Administrative Economic Court №2 with a claim for compensation for the damage caused during the demolition of illegal buildings. The appeal names Baku City Executive Power`s Housing & Communal Services Department, and as a third party Baku City Executive Power and the Baku City Khatai District Executive Power. The court did not support the claim. The Bank then appealed against this decision.

Bank Melli Iran’s Baku branch has been operating since 1993.
