Flood in Ismayilli region - PHOTOS
The Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan is experiencing a natural disaster.
Today, during two hours, starting from 15:00 (14:00 Moscow time), more than 10 villages were affected by floods and mudslides after heavy rains with a strong wind.

As a result, more than 200 cellars and residential yards were flooded in the villages of Kurdmashy, Gushendzhe, Garakollug, Balik, Enishdibi, Talysh, Yenikend, Shyukyurchyu and Ashigbairamli. About 10 old buildings were destroyed and a gas pipeline line was damaged. Mudslides destroyed orchards, wheat and grape fields, as well as led to the death of livestock.

The element partially destroyed the recently opened the highway Garamaryam-Ismayilli. Several settlements were cut off from the outside world due to the destruction of the bridges. Due to strong wind fallen trees damaged power lines.

Living force and heavy equipmentIn are involved in the operation due to the threat to the Oguz-Gabala-Baku water supply system.

Employees of the department of the State Administration of fire safety at the Emergency Situation of the Ismayilli region, management of irrigation systems, and road maintenance management of the Ismayilli region are involved in the liquidation of consequences.
