He made the remarks during a ceremony dedicated to the expiration of the office term of the WB country manager for Azerbaijan, Larisa Leshchenko.
Samir Sharifov noted that the disbursement rate of the World Bank`s funds in Azerbaijan was 13 percent in 2012.
Azerbaijan became a WB member in 1992.
The World Bank has allocated nearly $3.786 billion worth loans to Azerbaijan as of Feb. 1, 2016. Those funds were directed to finance over 60 projects.

The disbursement rate of the World Bank`s funds in Azerbaijan has reached 24 percent, said Azerbaijan`s Finance Minister Samir Sharifov.
