Plight of Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs to be highlighted at PABSEC
The plight of the Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced persons, who have lost their homelands as a result of Armenian aggression, will be highlighted at the 47th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), to be held in Moscow on June 28-30, Eldar Guliyev, head of the Azerbaijani Delegation to PABSEC, told on June 15.
He noted that the meeting will discuss the political, economic, social and cultural aspects of the issue of refugees and IDPs in member countries.

As a result of Armenian military aggression against Azerbaijan, more than one million of Azerbaijanis became refugees and internally displaced persons, Guliyev stressed.

He said the four UN Security Council resolutions on Nagorno-Karabakh remain unfilled, adding that Azerbaijan will do everything possible to ensure the return of refugees and IDPs to their native lands.

The BSEC, which supports economic and political initiatives aimed at contributing to cooperation, stability and prosperity in the Black Sea region, includes Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Serbia.
