President of the European Council Donald Tusk has announced the extension of sanctions against Russia.
He made this statement at a press conference with Finland`s PM Juha Sipila.
Tusk said the situation `was clear` now, and the position of the EU is that the sanctions against Russia should be linked to the implementation of the Minsk agreements. The sanctions will be prolonged, he said, possibly before the meeting of the European Council.
