The Lille city court made a decision to deport two Russian football fans, detained over a scuffle ahead of the Russia-Slovakia football match, from France.
The Lille city court made a decision to deport two Russian football fans, detained over a scuffle ahead of the Russia-Slovakia football match, from France, a spokesperson of the Russian Embassy in the country said Thursday.

"According to the prefect`s decision, both Russian nationals, detained over the scuffle in Lille, will be deported from the country. One of the detainees was sentenced to three months of suspended imprisonment with a delay for five years and banned from entering France for one year. No more punishment has been invoked in relation to the second detainee," the embassy`s spokesperson told RIA Novosti.

According to the spokesperson, both Russian nationals will soon be transferred to a temporary accommodation center, from where they will leave France for Russia.

On Wednesday, it became known that a total of 12 Russian football fans had been detained in Lille.
