Gurbanli noted that the propaganda against radical religious groups has yielded results: “We can already concretely say that we could ideologically, politically and psychologically weaken radical religious groups. They almost don’t have social-economic base in Azerbaijan. At the same time, we neutralized those who took the Azerbaijanis to abroad as mercenary in the name of religion. The law-enforcement agencies operated very effectively. We’ll further do what we must. We’ll not let religious groups operate in Azerbaijan. The state and society won’t let them violate stability, public safety”.
