Europe watches on high alert the Bremain
European officials are planning a series of emergency meetings in case of a Brexit.
The day of Britain’s referendum over country’s future is coming and people are closely watching the developments.

The latest polls conducted showed Bremain slightly leading over Brexit after the murder of British MP Jo Cox, with British people being divided in ‘yes’ and ‘no’ to EU and Prime Minister David Cameron making a dramatic appeal to citizens stating that the decision on Britain staying in or leaving EU will be permanent and irreversible.

EU officials are on high alert and are watching the developments with great concern.

European officials are planning a series of emergency meetings in case Britain votes to leave the European Union, aimed at calming financial markets and avoiding a domino effect in weaker economies, according to people familiar with the preparations, as Wall Street Journal says.

In the meantime, the head of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, told the German newspaper “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” that in case of a Brexit, the College of Commissioners will meet urgently.
