Azerbaijan interested in sustainable partnership with EU

Azerbaijan interested in sustainable partnership with EU

Azerbaijan is interested in a sustainable partnership with the European Union, said Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev.

He made the remarks in Baku June 23 during the International Conference “Mobility Partnership in Azerbaijan”, dedicated to the EU-funded project “Support to the Implementation of the Mobility Partnership with Azerbaijan”.

Mammadguliyev said that facilitating mobility has always been a topic of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU.

According to him, visa facilitation and readmission agreements have opened up an opportunity for the implementation of common goals in this field.

He added that Azerbaijan and the EU intend to expand cooperation in the field of migration.
