Azerbaijan took 64th place as the best CIS country after Kazakhstan and Russia in the list of 185 countries. In addition, Azerbaijan comes before its neighbor countries such as the Islamic Republic of Iran which ranked 72 with 16,918 dollar per capita GDP and Armenia which ranked 116.
The ranking list was prepared in regard with the data from World Bank and international Monetary Fund.
Qatar was defined as the richest country with 146,000 dollar GDP per capita.
Luxembourg is the second richest country in the world (94,147dollar), Singapore the third one (84,821 dollar).
The poorest countries of the world are Malavi (819 dollar), Congo (753 dollar) and Central African Republic (639 dollar).
