According to 1news.az, the event was held in a park of Egyptian-Azerbaijan friendship.
Provincial governor Mohammad Abdul Zahr Heydar informed the participants about the activities of Heydar Aliyev, stressing that the park of Egyptian-Azerbaijani friendship is a symbol of friendly relations between the two countries.
AR Ambassador to Egypt Shahin Abdullayev drew attention to the invaluable contribution of nationwide leader of the Azerbaijani people in the strengthening and development of Azerbaijan.
The ceremony participants laid flowers at the Heydar Aliyev`s monument installed in the park.
