`Int’l community considers status quo in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict unacceptable`
The entire international community, including the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs at the level of heads of state admits that the status quo in the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh is unacceptable and unsustainable, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
He made the remarks during the meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó in Baku June 28, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of development of political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Hungary, and praised the development of bilateral cooperation in the context of strategic partnership.

The Hungarian minister, in turn, said that Azerbaijan has hosted major international events and sports tournaments at a high level. He mentioned the first-ever European Games, the Formula One European Grand Prix and the upcoming Islamic Solidarity Games.

Szijjártó, a co-chair of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation, expressed satisfaction with the commission’s 6th meeting held in Baku.

He recalled that projects of practical cooperation in areas of mutual interest were discussed at the Baku meeting. The minister stressed that Hungarian companies are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijani partners.

The sides further exchanged views on the issues on the international agenda and the processes taking place within the EU.
