Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin have finished the phone conversation.
Sources linked to the Turkish president said the 40-minute conversation was productive and positive.
Both sides are expected to release official statement on the outcome of the talks.

Earlier, the Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet reported that the two presidents are expected to discuss the terrorist attack at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport.
