“Unfortunately, I have to note that there are conflicts in many member countries of the OSCE and the OSCE needs to strengthen its activity in this sphere,” said the Azerbaijani FM.
Germany, noted Mammadyarov, as a country chairing the OSCE, does a lot in this regard.
Commenting on the question about the freedom of speech in Azerbaijan, the minister said that media is free in the country and journalists were arrested not for their journalism activity.
“Some journalists infringe ethical norms and these cases can not be attributed to the unfree press,” explained Mammadyarov.
