Argentina creates parliamentary friendship group with Azerbaijan
The Argentine Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies has adopted a resolution on creating a friendship group with Azerbaijan.
The group will be chaired by Patricia Jimenez, vice president of the Chamber of Deputies, the Azerbaijani embassy in Argentina told.

Five members of the seven-deputy group are members of Argentina’s ruling political coalition “Cambiemos” (“Let’s change”). They are representatives of the country’s large provinces. The resolution notes that the friendship group will work with the foreign relations commission of the Chamber of Deputies as well as the country’s Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Justice, Religion and Public Education.

The resolution also mentions that the group’s members will, along with the foreign relations commission and the aforementioned ministries, closely cooperate with Azerbaijan. More deputies are expected to join the group in the near future.
