The EBRD Baku office told Trend July 4 that McKain left his position as his term of office ended. He has already been appointed the EBRD director for Central Asia.
The Bank is to appoint new representative in Azerbaijan.
McKain, who joined EBRD in 1999, has led the Baku office since 2011. Earlier, he was the head of the bank’s office in Turkmenistan.
The EBRD has so far allocated the loans worth $2.9 billion to Azerbaijan for implementation of 164 projects, including 154 private sector projects.
