Super typhoon kills 3, injures over 140 in Taiwan
Large typhoon Nepartak has hit Taiwan killing 3 and injuring 142, local media reported.
The Soil and Water Conservation Bureau maintained the landslide warning for 456 rivers, Focus Taiwan TV channel reported Friday.

It has been reported that over 15,000 locals have been evacuated and about 270,000 have been affected by power cuts.

The typhoon had a radius of 200 kilometers (124 miles) with maximum wind speed near its eye reaching 209 kilometers per hour.
