Canada to contribute to anti-Daesh coalition by providing air surveillance
Canada will contribute to Global Coalition against Daesh terrorist group by providing air surveillance, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Saturday as quoted by a press release following the NATO Summit in Warsaw.
The US-led coalition of more than 60 nations has been carrying out airstrikes in Syria and Iraq since the summer of 2014 against Daesh, which is outlawed in the United States, Russia and many other countries.

"The NATO leaders also agreed to bolster support for Iraq through defense capacity building, and we will provide air surveillance capacities to the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL," Trudeau noted.
