The talks held with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev were quite useful and these talks will make it possible to move forward after the meetings in St. Petersburg and Vienna, said Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Baku July 12.

Lavrov made the remarks during the joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev met with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov July 11.

“Russia and Azerbaijan have partnership relations,” said Russia’s foreign minister.
