`Armenia`s policy impedes progress in Karabakh conflict settlement`
Armenia’s policy aims at impeding any progress in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Hikmat Hajiyev, the spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told.
He made the remarks at the panel discussion as part of the event held on the National Diplomacy Day in Baku July 12.

“Taking into account the policy and tactics implemented by Armenia over the last two years, we can see that this country, over the past period, has resorted to political provocations, preventing any progress in the conflict resolution.” said Hajiyev. “For instance, Armenia has repeatedly held military exercises in the occupied Azerbaijani territories over the last two years”. the spokesman said.

`The implementation of the TAP and TANAP projects are among priorities in Azerbaijan’s foreign policy. There are certain circles that wish the projects not to be implemented. However, the Western countries are interested in the realization of these projects`, he added.
