Turkey supports positive steps taken towards Karabakh conflict resolution - FM

Turkey supports positive steps taken towards Karabakh conflict resolution - FM

Turkey supports positive steps taken towards a peaceful resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

He made the remarks at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani countepart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku July 15.

Turkey favors peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the FM reiterated, stressing the importance of preventing a recurrence of the April events.

Cavusoglu once again expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for its contribution to the normalization of ties between Turkey and Russia.
