Weapons, earlier stolen from police was found on the site of the arrest, the ministry reports.
Earlier on Monday, the highest of terror alerts has been declared in Almaty following an armed attack on police officers Monday, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to reports, gunmen engaged in a shootout with Almaty law enfocement earlier in the day, killing three officers and one civilian. Seven more people have been taken to hospital in critical condition.
