G20 Finance Ministers, bankers reiterate commitment to sustainable growth
"The global economic recovery continues but remains weaker than desirable <…> We reiterate our determination to use all policy tools – monetary, fiscal and structural – individually and collectively to achieve our goal of strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth," the communique read.
The ministers and bankers expressed hope that they have all the tools to "address the potential economic and financial consequences stemming from the UK referendum."
The communique also showed support for the international organizations trying to help refugees amid the ongoing crisis.
Participants of the meeting condemned recent terrorist attacks and vowed to "tackle all sources, techniques and channels of terrorist financing."
The adherence to the environmentally sustainable development had been reiterated with calls to implement the Paris Agreement on Climate Change as soon as possible.
The G20 is an international forum for the world`s 20 biggest economies. Its participants include the United States, Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Mexico and the United Kingdom, among others.
