Azerbaijan’s Emergency Ministry provides info on explosion in Shirvan
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations has disseminated information about the explosion that occurred July 26 at an arms factory in the country’s Shirvan city.
According to the information received by 112 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an explosion occurred at Araz arms factory of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry at around 15:30 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours), July 26, said the website of the Emergency Ministry.

The relevant forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately arrived at the scene and started to take necessary measures.

Currently, security measures, as well as the work on eliminating the consequences of the incident are being taken jointly with the forces of relevant authorities.

The senior staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and heads of the ministry’s relevant structural divisions have arrived at the scene.
