Two people were killed at the explosion occurred at Araz defense industry plant of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry located in Shirvan city, at about 15:30, on July 26, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry told AzVision.az.
The names of the deceased people at the explosion occurred at Araz defense industry plant, are Mammadov Aghamir and Nuriyeva Ilhama. They were the employees of the industry.
Earlier ministry reported that eleven people were slightly injured as a result of the incident.
The explosion was caused by spark in 146 tons out of 1,500 tons of products ordered by the Ministry of Defense for recycling.
