The results of the referendum on making amendments to Azerbaijan’s constitution will be announced before Oct.21, Azerbaijan’s Central Election commission said during its meeting July 27.
The referendum on amendments to Azerbaijan’s constitution was scheduled for September 26.
Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission was ordered to ensure that the referendum is held on the mentioned date, according to the decree.
The time schedule for preparations and holding the referendum on making amendments to the constitution was approved during the CEC meeting July 27.
The requirements on working out notifications about the referendum will be approved by Aug.17.
The organizations intending to hold exit polls, should submit documents by Sept.6.
On the day of voting, the CEC will release information about the voter turnout five times throughout the day.
Expert and working groups were created during the CEC meeting for reviewing complaints regarding the actions violating the electoral rights of citizens during the referendum.
