French identify second church attacker from DNA
The French prosecutors` office has identified the second man who killed a priest in a Normandy church. The office says DNA tests show he is a 19-year-old born in the eastern Vosges region of France, Abdel-Malik Nabil Petit Jean.
He and the other man, Adel Kermiche, also 19, attacked a church during morning Mass in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, outside Rouen, slashed the throat of the priest and took three nuns and an elderly couple hostage. The man was seriously wounded. One nun escaped and gave the alert.
