Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on July 26 on holding a referendum on amendments to the country’s Constitution on September 26, 2016.
Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission has been ordered to ensure that the referendum is held on the mentioned date, according to the decree.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to take necessary measures for financing the referendum.
