Woman with alleged links to Daesh detained at Delhi Airport
A 29-year-old woman was arrested at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi international Airport along with her five-year-old-son while she was boarding a flight to Kabul to join Daesh.
The woman, identified as Yasmeen Muhammed from the state of Bihar is suspected to have taken part in the recruitment of youths from Kerala for Daesh and is being questioned by the Kerala state police after being taken into custody.

She was arrested by a special team of Kerala police while trying to board a flight at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi to Kabul.

Yasmeen is alleged to have close links with Abdul Rashid, a native of Kasaragod in Kerala, who was believed to have played a key role in the alleged recruitment of youths from Kerala to Daesh.

It was suspected that Yasmeen was planning to join Abdul Rashid.

Yasmeen has been taken into judicial custody by the Kerala court.
