The ministry told that the Defense Minister congratulated the guest on her new appointment and wished her successes in her tenure.
The sides discussed the military-political situation in the region and other issues of mutual interest, expressing satisfaction with the level of development of the Azerbaijan-UK relations, and emphasized the importance of further expansion of cooperation between the countries’ Armed Forces and progress in the military education.
In the end, the Defense Minister expressed hope that the cooperation between the countries will further develop during the tenure of the ambassador. The UK Ambassador noted that she will spare no efforts to contribute to further development of the relations.
