Dubai Airport hit by delays, cancellations after plane crash-lands
The Dubai International Airport in the United Arab Emirates was struck by flight delays and cancellations on Thursday after a jet crash-landing, according to its website.
An Emirates airliner, carrying 300 passengers and crew members, crash-landed and caught fire at the Dubai airport on Wednesday. No one on board was hurt, but a firefighter died while tackling the blaze.

UAE-owned low-coaster FlyDubai said on its Facebook page it was working hard to minimize the disruption to passengers’ plans. "Today, there will continue to be delays and cancellations," the airline said.

Flights to and from Dubai International Airport were suspended for several hours. Although it reopened, it is currently operating with one runway.
